I too understand that it was a slip-up, and I don't really think Emily is a racist person despite the odd moment's thought I've had to give to it based on recent newspaper stories. But a lot of people are basing their arguments for the fact that she should have been ejected through talking about her ignorance, and stupidity, which at the end of the day IMO is true.
