She was acting at the start but anyone who was on a TV show would be trying hard to hold onto their emotions wouldn't they?
Emily is an actress who's had years of training and she's good at it. I believe she is sorry for what she said but only because she knows what deep doodoo she's in and she's going to be the target of hate now (until the next one).

I don't think it is that sincere because she comes across as very shallow.
