BB? It's just like Marmite!
As a new race row hits the Big Brother house, former
housemate Justine Sellman from Big Brother Four, in her
first column for the Yorkshire Evening Post, looks at the
happenings in Channel 4's infamous house
Producers were right to get Emily out. If she is the intellect that she suggests she is, then she should be well aware of what happened in Celebrity BB and how proactive they are now on removing housemates who are, or could be classed as, racist.
BB doesn't need any more scandal, although it is great hype for them and obviously free publicity.
Every time Big Brother comes back on the TV, I seem to be recognised again.
I am sure my boss Robert Harder and everyone in the Hollinbay office in Yeadon, where I work as an IT consultant, is fed up of hearing me.
The financial director, Jacqui Harder, who is Roberts's wife, loves BB though. Maybe it's a girly thing.
The 'flirting' going on between Wakefield lass Chanelle and Ziggy is quite sweet and I think they make a lovely couple, however he is more pushy than she is, maybe it's the age difference, she is 19, he is 26.
When they had the dinner date, he blatantly told her he was saving the best for last and that he was attracted to her, but all she did was giggle.
The worst girl by far is Charley. She is a vile creature and possibly the most irritating human being I have laid my eyes on. There is nothing remotely attractive about her.
She is lazy, rude and nasty. The next one on the bitchy list seems to be her trusty sidekick, Shabnam.
They remind me of the un-talented hopefuls that appear on X- Factor.
It might be too early, but I'd like to hazard a guess who could win.
I think Nicky stands a very good chance.
Not only is she extremely level headed but I find her constant complaints quite entertaining.
There is always a twist involved. There is speculation that some of the girls are men. I don't know about that but I can guarantee that due to the majority of viewers being female, sooner or later the ratings start to drop
the men will arrive soon.
I really wouldn't like to be in the house this time around, not with all the girls.
I'm sorry to be rude but they're just kids. They don't have many life experiences at their age, the majority still live at home and are now missing their parents, so for a short time, it's nice to get to know one another, but honestly, how long can you keep up a conversation about CBeebies and the Tellytubbies?
I am so hooked on watching the show that it's frightening. Even when the high-pitched voices begin to niggle, I can't even turn over, all that happens is the mute button goes on!
I just love it and am proud to say it.
Big Brother is just like Marmite. It's sticky so you get attached, it's nice at first but then will give you an odd taste in your mouth that leaves you wanting more.
Judge Justine's critical eye
Ziggy Very charming, warming and generally a nice guy.
Chanelle Great Yorkshire girl. Very sweet and quite a calming character.
Charley Quietening down now she is realizing her competition.
Nicky Very level headed girl and not at all dramatic.
Shabnam horrific and extremely vain.
Emily Glad she has been booted out.
Amanda Never involved in the rows, very happy to avoid confrontation.
Sam Exactly the same as Amanda. They are both extremely lucky to have each other in the house.
Carole A wonderful lady, selfless and kind.
Lesley Strong minded but still needs attention. However a very loving lady.
Tracey Wicked girl! She is a lovable, likeable mental housemate just pleased and grateful to be there.
Laura Bubbly, great to begin with, but she is now beginning to grate on me.
