Jonathan Ross is one of those presenters who is quite comical. He wants to jest all the time & the word "Serious" is a word he doesn't understand.
If Shilpa Shetty is being interviewed by him, or even another Celebrity, white or non-white, it hardly makes a difference to quirky-Jonathon.
I am not interested in watching interviews by him on serious issues.
Leave that to a professional interviewer, who can tell the difference between (seriousness & frivolity)
