That's not true. Calum was one of my favourites and he was friends with Hopkins, just as much as Michelle was.
Not to mention, I don't dislike Hopkins, as much as I dislike Michelle. So her friendship with Hopkins didn't bother me, whatsoever.

Me, as well as many others don't like Michelle because she was a spineless, disingenuous, two-faced harridan.

Also, how do you know her "confrontations" with Hopkins were edited out?

I can guarantee if she did confront Hopkins, it would've been shown, given the fact that series was based on drama and arguments. Why wouldn't they show it?

This as the only opinion that might've changed there is that I might've liked Hopkins more as Michelle was just a miserable cow that pretended to be something that she wasn't.
