I have long joked about evicting housemates on launch night but I didn't think it would actually happen - particularly to someone like Simon.
The guy is middle aged, a bit nutty, but hey, he had so much potential. The best housemate we never had.

Yeah, criticism levelled at Simon was that he was impersonating Louis Spence, but that was all an act.
Given time, Simon would have calmed down and I reckon he'd have been a great housemate. That's why he beat thousands in the auditions, right?
I'm so annoyed about this stupid twist. There wasn't even any opportunity for Simon to rescue himself. It was quite frankly, pathetic.
