My initial reaction to a season of BB is whether or not I like the cast or bunch of housemates. For the most part I was quite happy with the crew this year. There is buckets of potential for cat fights, laddish behaviour, diva ness, vanity, screeching etc. So it was a good start. I cant judge anything further until I have seen the first FULL highlights show tonight as last nights had a lot about the housemates entering the house. I agree with OP about BBOTS (and it isn't often we agree Sammy) Initially it was Big Brothers little Brother with the amazing Dermot. It was a show aimed to be a spinoff or magazine show of the main event. It had plenty of housemate discussion, clips, news etc. It has been going very much downhill lately.

For the past at least four seasons there have been so many pointless clips, mucking around, stupid dr dance, Alice and Lauren even the meal with the ex housemates where they were bickering wasn't all that interesting. Last night was very poorly put together. Emma Willis has never (to the best of my knowledge) had Matt on the show she did get a phone call from him at one stage and seemed very surprised to get it. Rylans Mum? FFS we don't care what she thought of the house etc. Are they so short of material they have to feature this YAWN and don't get me STARTED on the two bloody action figures on the wall. BBOTS is going to lose much of its viewership unless they rethink the situation and for GODS sake only have decent panellists. I know they have to bring back many of the same people but Gemma Collins and Nicola McLean in particular should be put on a slowboat to neverland
