It was ultimately pointless and underwhelming, but that's all. It didn't make me angry or anything, because it didn't change anything. It just left me feeling "Oh, okay". Twists that have huge negative effects are much worse (BB13's White Room and BB15's finale pass spring to mind).
Of course, I'd like any future "timebombs" to actually be more exciting, but I can deal with this one.
As a whole, I'm enjoying this series a lot so far. I just hope they don't meddle too much and kill it.
