I can speak Danish, read Swedish and understand Norwegian. I used to speak quite a lot of Greek when I worked on a Greek cruise ship, but I've forgotten most of it. However as the lifeboat drills were always spoken in Greek first, I've never forgotten the phrases 'All crew to lifeboats' and 'All crew abandon ship'.
I would like to learn Spanish as it's a beautiful sounding language and also latin, because one day I might find myself in the Vatican archives!! Well I can dream can't I?
