There will only be a ratings crisis if it gets fewer viewers than alternative C5 programs, that are created for less money.
Taking the Australian BB as a model, it did suffer something of a crisis, it was moved to something like 3 nights a week rather than 7, so there are plenty of options available before a show finally gets pulled.
