I agree with a lot of what Chosen says and I've said much the same as I am now in my early posts about Charley. Under her hard nosed front lies a very frightened nervous interior which Charley is trying extremely hard to cover up.
When you have such a terrified interior you form an extra hard exterior as a protection barrier. Something serious has happened in Charley's life to cause her to protect herself so tightly?
Now as for her methods of manipulation, they are completely transparent and sometimes comical. Most of the time we on the outside can see right through them and if the housemates cannot see through the then we ought be wondering if their brains have been transplanted with peas?
