...toothache/tooth pain is one of the worst things ever, I think..it really does get you down with how uncomfortable it is...my OH has a dense jaw..apparently...and anaesthetics don't penetrate it for some reason so he has had some fairly grim dental treatments including a root canal filling without any pain numbing...obviously he didn't know that these things wouldn't work for him until he was actually having a treatment and a fairly grim way to find out, poor thing...and he could have stuff done at the hospital under general anaesthetic but his dense jaw is not a thing compared to his stubbornness and ...'I can do this/it'll be over in a second...'...silly guy...
