The humanisation and projected emotions of people on animals isn't "pseudo" psychology at all. No, you've never heard "a pig is man's best friend" but a dog doesn't know that it's supposedly man's best friend any more than a pig does. It ALL comes from the people and has ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with the animal. Dogs, cats and other pers do not "love people" any more than cows or pigs do. The distinction is
human, not
natural, therefore reading a newspaper in the morning and getting upset about a dead dog whilst munching on a bacon sandwich is complete selective bias.
