As someone made a Freedom of Information Act application to me, here is the U2U I got notifying me of my punishment:

After looking at logs, and what you have been posting in the Karma thread, it is unacceptable to be giving out as much negative Karma as you are, for no real reason.
It's not a game to see who can get the highest/lowest rating, and that's why I've removed your rights from it.

So now we all know that it isn't a game and it isn't a race to get the lowest or highest score. But I think most people see it as a competition to get the most (otherwise it's pretty pointless) but apparently those people would be wrong!
