At the same time though I believe he is just treating this as a game and that he would have no problems nominating anybody in that house and I also believe that he genuinely thinks they shouldn't take it personally as he doesn't seem to have a huge personal problem with anybody in there anymore. (I suspect he will feel different though when he himself gets nominated)

I will say at least he owns his nominations, even before his secret mission he told each of the housemates what his opinion of them was from when he watched the highlights on the outside, he told Chrstian that he was too quiet, he told Chloe and the rest that they came across boring, he told Nick that he used to think Jade was a battleaxe and Nick looked like a lapdog but that he no longer thought Jade was like that since he got talking to her, he confronted Jack about his dressing gown etc. So at least he is somewhat upfront unlike slippery Sam who pretends like she loves everybody and has no criticism of them or any role at all in the joint nominations.

He definitely doesn't seem to be the 'nice guy' I kinda hoped he was under all the front, but I don't think he's the sneakiest in there either.
Despite him perhaps not being as nice as I'd hoped, I'm still finding him very entertaining.

The way he kept repeating "I'm not your best friend" about 4 or 5 times, his house meeting where he kept emphasizing his age and being COMPLETELY oblivious to how hypocritical he was coming across, the way he continued his completely obvious fake meltdown and sobbing so bloody loudly in Eileen's arms even when the other housemates at the table were openly laughing at him, his TERRIBLE acting skills when Nick told him he didn't believe his earlier tears were real

- all of these things had me laughing my ass of tonight.

I thought I would probably hate him, find him very annoying but that he would be entertaining and that he deserved his spot. Then after he quit the showbiz talk I thought there might be a nice enough guy under here. Now I'm not sure what to make of him!

So yes he's somewhat met my expectations in that he is entertaining, but I'm not finding him annoying like I thought I would, he just makes me laugh now for all the wrong reasons because he's such a bad fake crier and a blind hypocrite. Kinda funny to watch.

..as always atm, I missed some last night because uggghhh 10pm is far too late for me.....it's funny, I don't really know what I feel about Simon, I mean obviously..he's the most evil person on the planet that goes without saying because ..Eileen, how could he......oh my goodness...I think this is the advantage of going into the house late/having observed the housemates etc and what Marc has also been saying as well but obviously in his own way...that really they're not 'friends' as such..maybe bonds are forming because it would be natural in that environment but ultimately and above everything else, it's a game...?...even if they do like each other, they will still go into the DR and nominate each other and that there are no 'real' friendships as such or very few...and Simon is not 'Mr Showbizz' and 'surface' as he seems or seemed but a game-player as most housemates are...and to continue his game and part of it to try to keep his own place in the house is then the 'remorseful' and 'very upset' part as well....
