I would only have hot food in a restaurant anyway and as I said, that will have been cooked, or should have been, enough to kill off any bacteria.
I would never have a cold salad in a restaurant or even bits of any salad with anything I ate unless I saw it prepared and going on my plate in front of me.

I am just really fussy as to my food and what I eat,I had food poisoning as a child and never forgot it.
No way for me anyway, should anyone prepare cold foods/snacks with no disposable gloves on, it may take that bit longer and be an inconvenience but at least it will be safer for the person who has to eat what is prepared.
