If Helen is so loved then why does so many people hate her? Why did she enter the house this year to a chorus of boos?
Sam was the winner of BB14 yet no one talks about him as being a factor in that year, it was all about Dexter, Gina and Hazel that year. Nikki is infinitely more popular than Pete, the list goes on. The HMS that don't win are nearly always more loved than the winner because big characters don't tend to win, the boring nice people do. Helen only won because the Producers manipulated her 'journey' every step of the way. She wouldn't have made it past the first week without that pass.
