While that may be a factor in the original case but it set precedence. You don't need to defend how stressed you are by an assault, it just needs to meet a certain criteria and the previous case said that removing a significant portion of hair meets that criteria. Half an eyebrow is significantly noticeable.
And I would certainly press charges over it personally though I'm not saying Jack should. Not only does a part of my income come from working on camera but seeing that every time I looked in the mirror and having people staring is something I would find unpleasant. Of course I also wouldn't find myself in the situation where I hand Helen Wood a shaver and let her put it near my face but that doesn't change the fact she took advantage.
