Aisleyne's popularity really came as a sort of sympathy vote when all the ex housemates were talking about going in and sorting her out and the public turned on them in favour of Ais. Some liked her before of course (mostly as opposition to Grace or Nikki), but I've always thought she was somewhat overrated. I still recall with great amusement the pretentious (and very drunk) Paul Morley calling her a "feminist icon" on BBBM
What would be amusing is if Aisleyne goes in gunning for Helen and people suddenly turn on her in favour of Helen.
