Marc is nothing like Helen. He doesn't set out to hurt people. How can you say that. He might say things that hurts some people, the truth does hurt sometimes. But I've never seen him deliberately try to twist the knife in someone.
Even Harry, who it's clear he doesn't get on with, he suggested they just avoid each other when possible and be civil when they can't avoid each other. Which sounds a sensible suggestion and not at all cruel.
His 'In your face' attitude might tick some people off, but if I were a housemate I would rather have someone like Marc in there, who would at least tell me to my face if he had a problem with me, than the likes of Danny and Cristian, who slither about dripping poison in other peoples ears.
