I only saw it from her sitting in bed then waking him up, for all I know he could have been snoring for ages beforehand.
This being the case she could have gently elbowed him and told him to turn on his side, if this failed she could then proceed to gently turn him out of the bed, this normally stops the beggars snoring for a while...it normally works in this house, no need for words.
