The 'tick ye' comments and the fat jibes are just boring even helen has stopped pretending to be amused by him.

I really thought she would be lapping him up, but she seems irritated. If he ever went for her, she initally laugh it off, then get annoyed, then she'd bite back, however, I reckon even Helen would get upset. Yes, even Helen.
