I don't think he's overreacting, he's just being made to look like that because we're not allowed to see what Helen has done to make him feel that way.

He's the biggest attention seeker that was in there,he just wants to be hailed as 'wonderful' it's working with some,others can see straight though him, it's nothing to do with Helen,
