I think it wound her up because she gets made fun of a lot for what people perceive as her 'trying to act black', because as a white woman she is supposed to speak and behave a certain way? I know a lot of people will groan at me bringing race into this but there are racial connotations attached to what Marc said and considering her background I don't blame her for getting upset.
