Big Brother: Carole ends friendship with Nicky

Carole has declared that she no longer wants to be friends with fellow Big Brother housemate Nicky after a major falling-out.

The trouble began in the early hours of Tuesday morning during the Channel swimming task, after the 53-year-old took offence to a remark she overheard Nicky make to Charley.

"Nicky - from now any friendship we had is over," Carole said.

"I don't like the attitude that's developed, especially from you towards me over the last few days. The sort of picky, petty comments that you make."

Nicky looked baffled but Carole went on. "I really don't want to have any more to do with you in this House while I'm here."

The shocked account executive retreated to the garden where she sought solace in the others. "She said I made sarky comments," she told Brian. "But don't we all get involved in everybody's arguments."

"You haven't said anything worse than anybody else," Brian reassured her.

Nicky subsequently returned to the house in an effort to patch things up - but with little success.

"I do not wish to say anything further to you," Carole told her. "I've got enough enemies in the world without having friends like you."

Even Gerry's attempts to reconcile the two were met with short shrift.

"Why don't you sleep on it?" he suggested. "You're all gonna sleep... and you're gonna have a calm conversation tomorrow."

"Don't tell me what I'm going to do tomorrow," Carole snapped back 'cause I'm not."
