That Marc and Helen can never admit they are in the wrong and that Nick often avoids admitting he is in the wrong which is pathetic from them all shows they are not really mature and until they admit these things never will be.

I don't think you get to define what's regarded as grown up. Allowing Marc and Helen to be treated as spoiled kids sounds like excusing their behavior, they should own up to crap they do.
As for Nick, I'm not sure why you think he's not aware of his problems. From early on he was more judgy with himself than he was with anyone else. He even admitted that. And despite admitting his problems, I don't think he'll ever change them, he has no reason to.
