I think Ziggy's quite manipulative.

Although he sticks with Chanelle a lot of the time, he definitely works round the whole group and tries to curry favour as a "peacemaker".

I also think he's very aware of his looks, and although I'm sure I'd be doing the same, he wears certain clothes and acts on purpose to favour the female voting public.

Also, when he nominated Emily in the first week, it was because "She could cause problems for me later on", so despite what he might claim, it seems he secretly has his eye firmly fixed on the prize, and is out for himself and his own benefit Imo.
