Throw in the insulting remarks and it begins to resemble bully boy behaviour.

You have left out what led to this which is him, within minutes of entering, telling Chloe she was off for an STI test, essentially saying she looked like a slag. Again, this is called "banter" when it actual fact that word "banter" is used to cover what is little more than bully boy behaviour. He's a very manipulative person who by calling his sly digs at people "banter" makes those on the receiving end feel like they can't object or speak out against it because they fear they'll be accused of having no sense of humour. Which they often are when they do finally snap. Whilst he's celebrated for being a great wind up merchant.

I've seen men do this to their girlfriends. Essentially brainwash them into being the butt of their jokes in front of their mates, getting everyone to laugh along, and when other women who see this ask the girlfriend why they put up with that, they repeat what the man has told them "It's just banter". Marc is very much like this, and his relationship with Sam sometimes reminds me of such behaviour.

Very easily actually. He prods away at them constantly, goads them into snapping, makes constant insulting remarks, knowing full well that they can't actually do anything. They can't nominate him because he's the producer's favourite who has been immune for 4 weeks, they can't deck him as most people would have done by now in the real world (spare me the sanctimony about violence - no one would get away with acting like that in the real world), and so they just have to put up with it. He takes full advantage of the situation to prod, goad, overpower, belittle, insult and manipulate.

I don't like Danny. I thought he crossed the line with the sandwich incident, but most of the other times he's got stressed I could see where he was coming from. If a guy called my friend or girlfriend some of the things Marc has said to Chloe for example, he would end up in a massive argument at best.
Danny has no room talk. He hoped that a sexual assault victim would be bullied in the street when she left the BB house. He can't possibly try and pretend he doesn't like bullies.

Everything that danny has done has been worse than anything marc has.
