Default BB really tried hard to save Marc
In the last days, after the voting was opened (because Marc got bad edits too). Proof is the bad edits Jack got and the worst edit ever Harry got and the fact that they extended the voting until the last 30 minutes of the show.

I guess he was just so far ahead in the votes, that it was an impossible task for them.
