I watched this yesterday but forgot to update, silly me! This is unfortunately the last installment
~Day 48~
-Jem is going to walk
I liked what she said about how people are obsessed with staying in as long as possible but she's not <3 go against the status quo girl
-Jem said in the DR that she's going to walk because she's having a negative effect on the house and is obsessed with the whole Aaron thing and her brain spiraled out of control. There's something really endearing about someone who truly loses their mind on reality TV
and then of course BB is pulling out their last trick to get her to stay by telling her that Faye will be nominated if she walks and she can't tell Faye this :\
-in typical Jem fashion she has a fight with Faye! Jem said that she has to make her decision in twenty minutes and she's not sure what to do and Faye is just like "um you're miserable so it's easy just walk" and Jem yells at her that it's not that ****ing simple and throws her plate on the ground and storms inside <3 gotta love one last Palmer sister bicker
-awww Jem told Aaron to snap Faye back into place since he has a positive influence on her and she's worried that the public won't like how emotional she is, it's really sad to see her realize that she essentially lost her sister to this gormless **** of a human being
-omg the scene in the bedroom where Jem's tearing up and telling Faye that she's a strong person and she's so proud of her and she wants her to have a ****ing amazing time and Faye is hysterically crying that she's so scared about getting booed on Friday is so raw n real, and Jem's comforting her by saying that the public will understand what she's going through and that her little heart is breaking
like say what you want about Jem but her presence provided us with the most human drama of the whole series. This scene in particular was rly poignant and touching <3
-and then Jem walks! She got a really nice Best Bits-esque montage and she got some good goodbyes in right before she walked <3 justice for Jem
so yeah, I'm done with this thread except for maybe a funale update or whatever else! Thanks to everyone for tuning in and I hope I converted a few more people to the church of Jem. I genuinely have no clue how people consider her boring, especially when you consider what BB12 was like before she came in. The Palmer sisters are like a bickering TAR team and the Aaron-Faye-Jem triangular relationship was the realest drama that a series like BB12 could produce. I'm sure these next two weeks are going to suck without The People's Princess tbh.
