not familiar with suicide pools? in a bb context it would mean the following: you select a housemate, any housemate, who you feel will survive the next eviction. if that housemate's evicted, you're out. if not, you move on. once you've used that housemate, however, you may never use them again. so even if you're right every week, if you get to the end and have run out of housemates to use YOU'RE OUT.
basically you want to choose somebody who's reasonably safe for the near future, but not a real risk to make the end/win. sound simple enough?

I know there's been 2 weeks already, but might as well start this now before it's too late, excluding Jase and Da'Vonne. You can only play if you make your first prediction before the Week 3 noms (for BOTB) are confirmed at the nomination ceremony. Then each week you must predict who you think will be safe for the next week before the nomination ceremony
Deadline for Week 3 predictions is when the first noms are announced. Allowing predictions to be done after HOH comp since one of the HOHs could still be backdoored (and you can only use players once).
If you're still confused how it works, here's an example. If this game had started Week 1 and I predicted in Week 1 that Da'Vonne would be safe for Week 2, then I would be eliminated after Da'Vonne's eviction this week. However if I predicted in Week 1 that Shelli would be safe in Week 2, then I'd still be in the game, but could not use Shelli again in the game.
If it gets to a point where
all the players left in the game have already been chosen by you, then you are
OUT. If you
forget to make a prediction one week, then you are
OUT (I will try and send reminder PMs to people if predictions haven't been If Liz and Julia make it to Week 5, they will become separate houseguests and will both be eligible for selection again. You can still pick them prior to Week 5 though. Once it's down to the final 3 (finale night), you pick who you think will
WIN, regardless of whether you chose them before or not.
If you want to play for the remainder of the season, you need to make your first prediction before the Week 3 nomination ceremony. Can't let members join late as it would be unfair.
NEW PREDICTION DEADLINE FROM NOW ON - the official prediction period is now from the Veto Ceremony to the Live Eviction episode. So after the veto ceremony for that week is over, you make your predictions for the following week before the HOH comp has happened. That makes it fairer and harder to play, which is what the whole point of the game is!
