Love here or hate her there is no denying she is the ONLY housemate with any integrity and principles. She has flaws of that there is no doubt.
Danny gambled that Sam would sacrifice her own personal wealth for the good of the group in keeping with her past behaviour and went with that in order to satisfy his own greed and win 5k for his own bank balance. How do I know this? Well, if Danny wanted that money to go in the prize pot then he would have based his guess on her past selfless behaviour to ensure it did, Sam has been consistent in her decisions to put the group before herself. He was banking on that because he wanted that 5k.
Harry gambled that Jack would opt to keep it keeping with his past behaviour and public statements to that effect. She went with that and was successfull and took control of the money and threw the 5k in the pot.
Cristian gambles that Joel in keeping with past behaviour would be greedy and take the money and went with this, he got it wrong and lost control of the money which went to the prize fund.
From the above it can be calculated who was selfish and who was selfless with the exception of Cristian in that Joel is unpredictable because he has acted both selfishly and selflessly so it cannot really be determined what his motive was.
The other two however are clear cut.
Chloe has banged on like a harpy that the pot should be protected or inflated whenever possible {she's had boatloads of criticism for her whining over this both in the house and on here.} She was a sure bet most would have believed to throw the money in the pot, if Danny was thinking about the prize pot he would have deliberately guessed incorrectly to ensure the money went in the pot. The ONLY losing option for him was the one he chose and the one he chose could only have been driven by personal greed.
