If anyone (man, woman, or a new undiscovered gender) tries to attack you first then you have every right to fight them back, this whole women can hit men but men can't hit women back is a load of bollocks imo.

I'm also not one of them that will feel sorry for any woman crying either, they only deserve my sympathy if they actually was harshly treated and not just because they don't like the fact that a man called them out for being a twat, I say the same thing when it's role-reversed.
