Whether he said a lot or a little (and I can admit, sometimes what he said was needlessly longwinded) he was saying something, and something contrary to the uncaring and toxic government agenda of this decade. Not always thought through, not often offering answers, but at least standing up and saying "please look at this mess, this is all wrong".

The fact that the Tory gutter press has now managed to successfully suppress him with their near-constant hyperbole and slander is not a good thing. It's not a "win" for anyone, except those who want us all mindlessly subscribing to the status quo and don't want alternative viewpoints on anything at all to be in the spotlight for too long.

That applies whether you agree with anything he had to say or not.
