He's not deep, he's incredibly shallow. He is purely concerned about what people think about him. As Victor said, he will criticise Ahmed becasue he is an easy target, but will not confront anyone else (even though he says he will in the diary room) for fear of becoming unpopular. All this is fair enough cos it's a game and he is playing it cleverly, but he appears to have tricked the majority into thinking that he is a genuine bloke when in fact he's one of the most sneaky and coniving in the house.
