No one wants fracking in their communities, no one wants windmills or solar panels for blighting the landscape, people don't want tidal power in the Severn because it will disrupt the birds, coal power stations get targeted by Greenpeace nuts, and we've not had a nuclear power station built in this country for over twenty years. Like Livia said we're all energy junkies but when it's our back garden that gets threatened everyone grabs for the nearest pitchfork.
