Craig Coates
Craig's time in the house house can be broken down into 3 sections
1) When he was aligned with Lesley and Vanessa
2) When he was wrenched up Saskia's arse
3) When he 'stalked' Anthony
I loved Craig during his first era to the point where I didn't really care that he stayed over Mother Mary (how amazing would a Anthony vs Maxwell first eviction have been but Kose foolishly avoided it
). The whole pregnancy act was hilarious and made a lot of people 'Team Craig'.
Then it all kinda went downhill for me. Saskia treated Craig very harshly for 'talking about nominating her' when the footage shown did not even show Craig saying he was going to nominate her. This led to Saskia launching a personal attack on Craig while he was visibly upset in the corner of the bedroom to which it appeared Saskia showed no mercy. So it was confusing why several days later Craig decided to get with the 'Saskia and Maxwell' group (who were growing in unpopularity) and suddenly pander to Saskia 'are you alright Saskia?' 'I need a hug Saskia etc'. Also his alligence to Maxwell and Saskia meant that Craig grew into a nastier person imo. While he was mainly innocently bitching, he kind of had strong vitriol against 'Queen Africa' Makosi and Kemal. Yet no one this correlated into a strong argument when Makosi was seen to shut down 'Team Britney' herself with 1 sentence.
Yet Craig's story lived on past the Saskia and Maxwell culls. The media and producers really pushed for a stalker storyline with Craig and Anthony with the objective to make Anthony look a hero for putting up with Craig. I thought this was unfair on Craig though as Anthony was really aggressive to Craig at times while Craig I felt was just clingy to Anthony because he was the only 'friend' he had left.
So I'm not all negative on Craig as he's one of the more complex housemates we've had on BB. Also this exists
