Yeah I don't think British people would pick up on strategy like MB said. Like, there are so many principles ingrained in reality TV about how you should Be Yourself and Gameplaying Is Bad and whatnot. It takes quite a few years for gameplay to develop and become interesting so I don't think it would really be worth the price of admission to see people get voted off for not pulling their weight around camp and stuff. Survivor's popularity in the first season hinged entirely on the moral debates between how Tagi approached the show and how Pagong approached the show and people were frustratingly gritting their teeth and cursing under their breath when the unfair strategists won out. And then it took another four or five seasons for people to realize that you can turn on your original alliance.
tl;dr I can't really see Survivor UK being a show about proper strategy, let alone one with interesting and innovative gameplay.
