Online I think people are total hatred junkies. Just have a look on the forums part of IMDB (a movie and TV show database) and something like 80% of the comments and threads on all movies and TV shows are either picking it apart (this or that isn't realistic / is stupid), expressing dislike for the actors that are in it, or just straight up bashing the whole thing. Not just crappy things either - you get the same on all the most popular / highest rated films and shows. I had to stop going on it because it was actually starting to ruin my viewing experience of a lot of things, with people picking out every tiny flaw .

It seems like a lot of people find some joy in the negatives, both online and in the press. I mean... There's a reason that these people who are fuelling the "hatred industry" are famous, I guess.
