I agree, I also don't see why this decision should lie with only one man or woman either.
I could for myself say now, I would never want to and likely wouldn't press such a button.
Corbyn as PM couldn't do so anyway, even if he wanted to, without first getting the permission of the USA.
This is something that should have a committee to decide, one that involves military hierarchy, MPs of all Parties and Ministers and the PM.
There should have to be majority decision to allow the seeking to press the button from such a committee, and without same, then it could not even be explored.
There is no justifiable reason whatsoever in my view that a man or woman who had such strong principles as to not pressing the button themselves, That they should not be able to become PM of the UK and deal with all that is needed to lead and run the Country as to everything else.
Just as equally there should be no barrier to someone who would press the button becoming PM too.
