I strongly agree with this.
I think that although you and I have different political opinions, we are fairly similar, so regardless of how your opinion differs with mine, I have to admire your stance (awkwardness
) and admire the stance of most people who hold a passionate opinion.
Having a minority opinion can make you unpopular to the majority and so you need thick skin. Some people don't really have an opinion but prefer to remain with the popular majority and that's fine, it doesn't make them sheep, it just means they prefer to play things safe and remain popular.
