I wish I was old enough at the time to remember the reaction it had (I was only 2 months old
) but everything I've read just really intrigues me. Probably because I'm accustomed to a time where there's no way there'd be a widespread belief that it was all genuine.
The ending with Parkinson is really creepy, I can imagine people who believed it being really disturbed by that especially.
