I can see both sides, I would hate being stuck, when I am ready to come home I am ready and I would be very twitchy by now, people might be running out of money as well people who travelled independently so have no tour operator to turn to for advice, on the other hand I'd like to come home in one piece! It's at moments like this travel insurance is a life saver.
