The group, Deport Racism had offered a "bounty" of $5,000 to anyone who heckled Trump during the show by calling him a racist.
US comedian Larry David took it upon himself to shout "you're a racist" during Trump's opening monologue, in what looks to me like a skit that had been staged beforehand.
Firstly, why do 'Deport Racism' think that yelling a word at someone on a TV show is going to solve any problems? Is this the best way to tackle racism? How about going into schools? Working on improving race relations? I think it's obviously a good cause but they're misguided.
Secondly, watch the video. This isn't making a joke out of Trump as the BBC article suggests, it's making a joke out of the word 'Racist'. Another step towards rendering the term meaningless?
