Ziggy finally told Chanelle it was over this afternoon, after days of arguing.
After earlier confiding in Gerry that he wanted to end his relationship, the 26-year-old found a moment alone with Chanelle as they tidied their part of the bedroom.
Breaking an increasingly tense atmosphere as he struggled to stuff a duvet into its cover, he began: “Chanelle, do you think we need to talk or not?” before telling her: “I can’t carry on worrying about what I’m doing and treading carefully. I feel like I’m treading on ice...I have to be able to enjoy myself and do what I want.”
Despite the twins interrupting three times to chirp about what they were making for dinner, the pair re-hashed a number of old arguments during the often very heated exchange.
As accusations of double standards and lack of respect flew in both directions, Chanelle told Ziggy that getting involved with him had ruined her time in the house.
“Please do not go down this route where it's all my fault,” he begged, adding that he wanted to do what he wanted and talk to who he wanted without having to worry what she thought.
When Chanelle mentioned going into the diary room, Ziggy accused her of intending to bitch about him to Big Brother, saying: “You know what? I probably won’t go in the diary room for a couple of days but you want to go in there and slay someone.”
As Ziggy finally cut through the fighting and brought the rocky romance to a close, he vowed that he would never go near another girl in the house: "I tried it with one person and it hasn’t worked and that’s it. I’ve been trying to get it across but not having the balls to actually initially say the words...but it hasn’t [worked] and that’s it.”
Chanelle then fell on the bed crying and accusing him of fancying Charley, as Carole tried to console her.
