Default 15 Year Old Girl Puts £900 Hit On Crush, Stabs Him Herself

A SCHOOLGIRL put out a hit on Instagram for someone to attack a boy she fancied before stabbing him herself, a court heard.

A jury was told the girl – who was just 15 at the time – got in a row with the lad over playground gossip.

In a series of messages she allegedly sent out requests to find someone "up for doing anything for £900".

She then taunted the victim telling him "watch what I'm going to do to you" with an emoji symbol of a knife, the court was told.

The girl also stored the lad's number on her phone as "dead man walking", it was said.

Hours later the teenager – who cannot be named – allegedly attacked the boy in the street with a nine-inch kitchen knife after demanding to see him.

Prosecutor Sally McLeod told Reading crown court: "The victim grabbed her right wrist and so the attacker took the knife in her left hand, held it over her head and brought it down into the right side of his chest.

"He recalled it feeling as if he had been punched, then he saw there was blood and moved his right shoulder away from her and she brought the knife down two more times.

"He ran home and the attacker ran back to her flat.”

The victim – who also cannot be named – was found in a pool of blood on his doorstep and was rushed to hospital for an emergency life-saving op.

Cops raided the defendant's house and seized three mobile phones and kitchen knives, including one which had the boy's blood on it, after the attack in Reading in June, the court heard.

Jurors were told the girl had become angry after the victim had talked about a friend cheating by kissing another pupil

Giving evidence the victim said: "I would say we were friends from school but had only socialised outside of school together once or twice before at a party.

"The defendant had wanted to have sex with me basically. She had whispered 'I want to have sex with you' in my ear but I had always ignored her.”

Asked what he thought about the Instagram messages, he told the court: "She came across as angry but I was thinking she could have been joking around so I wasn't too sure."

The girl denies attempted murder.

The trial continues
