But the decline in album sales make Adele's numbers all the more impressive, adjusted for inflation, if the climate was still the same now as it was back then 25 would have sold around 8,000,000 in one week, yes Britney set the record, but somebody set it before her (the highest first week sales for a female) and now Adele has broke it
