While Dezzy is of course right, the problem is that she isn't going to go away anytime soon, nor is she not going to continue to be paid to write columns and appear on downmarket television shows. It will continue for the foreseeable future regardless of however little attention people try to pay to her.
So as such, while ever she is still around spouting her bigoted bile, moves like this that are designed to humiliate her and every single person that for some reason follows her baseless, reactionary nonsense and show them up for the subhumans that they - are very much welcome.

The point is she shouldn't have been booked in the first place, Katie Hopkins has no place in any kind of debate on anything. She isn't an academic, she isn't a social researcher, she isn't a politician, she's a human troll. She has no right to be in such an institution and the fact she was booked says more about the university than anything else to be quite honest.
