CELEB Big Brother's Chantelle Houghton revealed yesterday she split up with husband Preston because she couldn't stand living in Brighton.
The 23-year-old said it came down to a choice between the Ordinary Boys star, 25, and his home town or her friends and Essex where she's from.
She said: "The truth is living in Brighton was very hard.
"My life changed and it was a time when I needed familiar things around me. I tried so hard to live with Preston but being away from my family was just too hard."
The pair met on the C4 show and after a whirlwind romance wed last August. They split after 10 months.
She denied the pair got together for cash. She made £353,000 from magazine and TV deals from her new-found fame.
