I think a lot of parents who say they wouldn't accept it, or would be unhappy about it, would probably change their minds if it actually happened. From my own personal experience, my mum would have been one of the ones saying she would be unhappy about it (before I came out), but after I came out she's the biggest fag hag ever lol. She's still trying to get me to take her to a gay bar (and I still continue to refuse!
